BUILT TO LAST
Every Kent Bespoke Garden Room is constructed using carefully selected, premium-grade materials. We never cut corners — because the materials you choose today determine how your garden room looks and performs for decades to come.
EXTERIOR CLADDING
The exterior cladding defines the character of your garden room. We offer two outstanding options — our standard James Hardie fibre cement boards for a clean, contemporary finish, and premium Western Red Cedar for those who want the ultimate natural aesthetic.

Our Standard Cladding
James Hardie is the world's leading manufacturer of fibre cement products, trusted on millions of buildings worldwide. Their HardiePlank boards deliver a crisp, modern finish that's virtually maintenance-free. Unlike timber, fibre cement won't rot, warp, or attract pests — and it's non-combustible, giving you peace of mind.
Fire Resistant
Non-combustible fibre cement provides excellent fire protection for your garden room.
Extremely Durable
Resistant to rot, warping, cracking, and pest damage. Built to withstand the British climate.
Low Maintenance
No annual painting or staining required. Simply clean with water to keep it looking fresh.
Range of Colours
Available in a wide selection of factory-applied colours with a consistent, professional finish.
Premium Upgrade
For those who want the ultimate in natural beauty, Western Red Cedar is the finest timber cladding available. Its rich, warm tones and distinctive grain create a striking visual statement that blends seamlessly with any garden setting. Over time, cedar develops a beautiful silver-grey patina — or it can be oiled to maintain its original warmth. There is a significant cost increase over fibre cement, but the result is truly exceptional.
Natural Beauty
Rich, warm tones and natural grain patterns that age gracefully to a distinguished silver-grey.
Naturally Durable
Contains natural oils that resist rot, decay, and insect damage without chemical treatment.
Thermal Performance
Excellent natural insulation properties, keeping your garden room comfortable year-round.
Premium Aesthetic
The ultimate statement in garden room design. Nothing matches the warmth and character of real cedar.

COMPOSITE DECKING
We exclusively use Cladco composite decking boards — never timber. Traditional wooden decking simply doesn't last. It rots, splinters, becomes slippery, and needs constant maintenance. Composite decking looks better, lasts longer, and requires virtually no upkeep.

Available as an Add-On • £95/m²
Cladco composite decking is made from a blend of recycled wood fibres and polymers, creating a board that looks and feels like real wood but performs far better. Available in a range of colours to complement your garden room's exterior, it's the perfect finishing touch that extends your living space into the garden.
25-Year Lifespan
Composite boards last decades longer than traditional timber decking, which rots and splinters within years.
Weather Resistant
Won't warp, crack, or splinter in rain, frost, or sun. Performs consistently in all British weather conditions.
Slip Resistant
Textured surface provides excellent grip even when wet, making it safe for families and pets.
No Maintenance
Never needs sanding, staining, or oiling. A simple wash keeps it looking as good as the day it was installed.
Why not timber? Traditional wooden decking typically lasts just 5–10 years before it starts to rot, warp, and become dangerously slippery. Composite decking maintains its appearance and safety for 25+ years with zero maintenance. It's a smarter long-term investment.
† 10-year guarantee covers EPDM roofing membrane and main structural frame only.
